This week we explored Handa’s Surprise! The children loved tasting the different fruits and painting them for our classroom display.In small world, we visited our own African village, using animals to act out parts of the story and build imaginative language. We had fun tapping out beats using claves and the drums in music too.
For ‘World Book Day’ we dressed up as our favourite characters - such excitement in the room! A big thank you to Deirdre from the library who read us stories.
We also visited the Playtrail,where the children became little explorers,searching for bugs and mini beasts, supporting curiosity and early science skills.
